The Aloha All-State Nā Koa Aliʻi Marching Band is a premier statewide honor ensemble that brings together the most talented high school student musicians, dancers, and auxiliary performers from across Hawaiʻi to perform at a nationally recognized level. Absorbed by AlohaMusic in 2025, the ensemble builds on the legacy of the former Nā Koa Aliʻi Hawaiʻi All-State Marching Band and aspires to represent the spirit and excellence of Hawaiʻi’s youth on both local and national stages.
Scheduled to perform in the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® in 2026, the band offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students to collaborate, rehearse, and perform in a premier ensemble. Members are selected through a statewide nomination process and will participate in a series of rehearsals led by a team of accomplished music educators, choreographers, and visual staff.
How to Join
- Students in Grades 9-12
- At least 1 year of Parade Marching experience
- Band Directorʻs Recommendation
- $45 Applicaiton Fee
